This is another view of the Class 6 white water rapids on the Niagara River, downriver from Niagara Falls. Taken from Ontario, Canada, looking into New York, USA.
This tree was scary looking on the nicest day of the year, but recent winter damage left it a menacing force in the park. It was always the perfect subject for the Lensbaby. Sadly, but necessarily, the limbs have now been removed and only the trunk remains.

The scary Jesus statue outside St. Martin's church in Basildon. I grew up terrified of this thing. Why is he just floating above the church doorway? Why is he impaled with multiple spikes like a human kerplunk? Why is one of his feet missing? It's horrible and so is the church building, just a big oblong box finished in dark, almost black, brickwork. Just horrible.
Took this one on the first night of my trip to Cyprus 30 minutes later the heavens opened.
